    Yaw Adu, third-year medical student, was chosen by the International Myeloma Foundation for the Medical Student Scholars for Health Equity in Myeloma Mentoring program.

  • David Cummings, MD, (’98) has been reappointed by Gov. Abbott to the Cancer Research Institute of Texas Oversight Committee.

    Jeff Barnhart (’13) CEO of the Deaf County Hospital District, received the 2022 Texas Hospital Associations Pioneer Award.

  • Rebecca Bradley, DPT, (’11) was the first author on a research paper titled “Therapists Predict Discharge Destination More Accurately Than the AM-PAC ‘6-Clicks’ at Evaluation and Discharge for Patients with Isolated Coronary Artery Bypass Graft.” The paper was published January 2023 in the Journal of Acute Care Physical Therapy Volume 14.
  • Tucker Dunand, Doctor of Occupational Therapy student developed his own gaming program that he has put into practice with patients at High Point Village in Lubbock.
  • Richard G. Greenhill, DHA, CPHQ, HACP-CMS, program director of the Healthcare Management and assistant professor, has been elected to the International Academy of Quality and Safety.
  • Jennifer Lee (‘13) has joined Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville, Alabama, as practice executive for the 13 Crestwood Medical Group clinics.
  • Steven Sawyer, PT, PhD, chair for the TTUHSC Department of Rehabilitation Sciences, executive associate dean, and distinguished professor retired in April.
